“And Miss Zimmerman – a flaming redhead with amazing, contortionist’s limbs and a musical personality to send you screaming for Ethel Merman to lower the temperature – simply strides off with the evening.”
- Daily Mail
“We saw a wonderful thing. We saw a huge genuine West End musical star being born. Even in the kind of cast that renders the job of critic a sinecure, she stood out. She has a voice as great as her legs, balls and beauty in equal amounts and the kind of classy sexiness you imagine faded out with the end credits on ‘Gilda’. She is a 24-carat thrill to watch and her name is Leigh Zimmerman.”
- The Scotsman
“…if a star has been born it’s Leigh Zimmerman – the long-legged explosion of flame-red hair and creamy flesh who plays the siren murderess, Velma Kelly.”
- Daily Express
“The tall, angular Zimmerman brandishes her sexuality like a weapon as Velma…”
- Metro
“… the Amazonian Leigh Zimmerman gives a more visceral display of girl power…she excels with a thigh-splitting floor show…”
