Leigh won the 2013 Olivier Award for her role as Sheila Bryant
in the original revival company of A Chorus Line
at the Palladium Theatre in London.
A Chorus Line tells the story of dancers desperately auditioning for eight jobs in the chorus of a new musical. The passion of the piece came from director/choreographer Michael Bennett’s desire to make these dancers represent the thousands upon thousands of gypsies over the years who sublimated their own careers to support the star.

"Leigh Zimmerman plays Sheila with a convincing determination and flair. She is both hilarious and heartfelt; the cougar in a tutu amid her last pirouette. Shelia’s final appearance on stage perfectly encapsulates the moment in which a dream dies. It was heartbreaking."
